STUDENT LOCKERS
Starting Monday, August 30th, you can print out your locker assignment notification, go to student tools and click on the locker link. Students who choose to use their school locker must submit the signed notification letter and fee in an envelope to room 209 by Monday, September 20th. Combinations are emailed to you within 48 hours. Make sure that your contact email information is correct in student tools.

BOYS FENCING TRYOUTS/PRACTICE
Boys Fencing tryouts will be held September 16 after 10th period in the sixth floor gymnasium. Properly completed PSAL medical and parent consent forms are needed in order to try out. Regular Practice begins on the 1st day students are back. There is a new structure this year divided up between foil and epee.  ALL FORMS ARE REQUIRED. GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM
Attention all girls interested in joining cross country: practices will be held starting Wednesday, August 25th at Central Park, Prospect Park or Stuyvesant.  Please check the team website www.stuyrunning.info for more information.  Remember you must have attended 12 practices to be eligible for the first meet, so make getting to practice a priority.  In order to participate, you must have completed medical and parental consent forms.  There will be a brief interest meeting on September 8th immediately following 10th period, and team tryouts will be held on Tuesday, September 14th at Central Park.  If you have any questions, e-mail Coach Pluchino at chem.pluchino@gmail.com.

SU APPOINTED POSITIONS
If you would like to be a part of the SU next year, apply for an appointed position! There are a variety of positions available so you can contribute to the SU with the things that you are already good at. The positions are: Chief Financial Officer, Budget Director, Club/Publication Director, Communication Director, Special Events Coordinator, Information Technology (IT) Coordinator, Chief of Staff, Secretary, School Leadership Team Representative, SUVH, Executive Council Assistant. There will be no separate applications for assistants. Assistants will be chosen from the pool of director applicants and should indicate (in the proper field at the end of the application) that they are willing to take an assistant position if offered one.
